The first model of the new RAYS
The 7 point crossed mesh, composed of straight lines, inherits the design of the “A●LAP-J,” which is an exclusive model for the Jimny. It is also designed for larger vehicles like the Land Cruiser Prado and Hiace. The contents of rim width, rim depth, and layout have been carefully selected to bring forth its strength and lightweight quality.
This model prepares different rim depths and faces for each rim width and offset accordingly. In addition, the 18-inch forged wheel application for the Jimny/Jimny Sierra is the first of its kind in the whole industry.
Generally, lightweight brings more advantages and merit for the 4WDs and Hiace, which often use off-road tires and van tires instead of passenger car tires. The new “07X” starts as a model focusing on “lightweight” from the forging method.
